Please check the following:
- Ensure you charge the remote control using the included USB Type-C® cable.
- Check that the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to the USB AC adapter or computer, and that the USB AC adapter is firmly plugged into the AC outlet.
- Confirm that the computer is turned on. If the computer is in standby (sleep) or hibernation mode, wake it up.
- If the remote control has not been used for a long time, it may fail to charge due to over-discharge.
If you can’t charge the remote due to over-discharge, please contact Sony support.
Notes:
- Not all remote controls operate the same, and the type of remote control may vary depending on the region and model.
- Rechargeable remote controls come with their own charging cable.
- If the remote is fully charged, the charging LED will not turn on.
- It is recommended to charge the remote in an environment with an ambient temperature between 15 °C and 35 °C (59 °F and 95 °F). Charging efficiency may decrease outside this range.
- When storing the remote for extended periods, charge the battery once every 6 months to prevent over-discharge.
