If your audio system turns back on after you turn it off, this is expected behavior when the audio system is connected to the TV and selected as the TV's audio output device.
This behavior may occur with the HT-A9000 and HT-A9M2 audio systems when they are connected to the TV.
When an audio system is connected to the TV, it is designed to remain on so it can function as the TV's audio output device.
When you turn off the TV, the audio system will also turn off automatically.
If you want to use the TV's built-in speakers instead of the connected audio system, change the Speakers setting to TV speakers:
- On the remote control, press the Quick Settings (
) button.
- Select Speakers.
- Choose TV speakers.
