How to install preinstalled software with VAIO Recovery Utility?

    Installing software with VAIO Recovery Utility. 
    Note:
    The technical support service that VAIO call center provides is based on the hard disk status under the default value or the status after system restore. After having bought the computers, users may change disk partition, delete some software or use part of the software. And this may cause the system instability. Thus SONY may not be able to provide the detailed solutions. Sorry for inconvenience.

    Note: Users cannot start VAIO Recovery Utility in Safe Mode.



    ■ VAIO Recovery Utility Ver.2.4, VAIO Recovery Utility Ver.2.5, VAIO Recovery Utility Ver.2.6
    1. Click Start→All Programs→VAIO Repair Tools→VAIO Recovery Utility.

    2. When the VAIO Recovery Utility dialog box displays, click Options.

    3. When the Options menu appears,select Restart the accessories software, and then click OK.

       

    4. When the VAIO Recovery Utility dialog box displays, click Yes.
       

    5. When Do you want to start support tools appears, click Yes.
       

    6. Select the software to install in VAIO Recovery Utility, click Install.


      ※ Different computer models have different interfaces displayed.

      Remark
      When users click the software name in the interface shown as above, other interfaces may appear.
      If other interfaces appear, please select to install the software individually, and then click Install.

    7. When the installation program is started, please install the software according to the on-screen instructions.

    1. Click Start-All Programs-VAIO Repair Tools-VAIO Recovery Utility.

    2. When the User Accounts Control dialog box displays, click Continue.

      If the User Accounts Control dialog box does not display, please refer to the steps below.

    3. When VAIO Recovery Utility appears, click Options.
       

    4. When the Options menu appears,select Restart the accessories software, and then click OK.

       

    5. When VAIO Recovery Utility appears, clickYes.
       

    6. When Do you want to start support tools, click Yes.

       

    7. Select the software users want to install in VAIO Recovery Utility, click Install.
