Love the design, sound esp Music with Mega Bass <3 <3

I bought this 3 weeks ago from the airport to enjoy music in the hotel room, it is great, good bass, excellent sound, battery lasts ages, when got home we could turn it up louder and still very impressed, would definitely recommend

When I compared this model with others like Marshall and jbl I thought it had better sound in the same category. I realized when I received and really tried it out that for the price there was going to be limitations to really how great it would sound bc this is not an expensive speaker and what can you expect ? My ultimate thought was , why buy the newer replacement when I can get this at a much reduced price with very likely the same quality tweeters and wolfer . After all how can they really improve things these days unless they drastically up the quality of the functioning parts and that means the price goes up significantly and it doesn't in the replacement. In the end I like it. It puts a great vibe wherever I carry it. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

I’ve always purchased Sony as I thought they were an above average manufacturer. I’d had this speaker for about 3 months and thought the battery life wasn’t as good as my other speakers I own. It was confirmed when charging it one day I could smell an electrical burning smell and smoke emanating so I quickly turned it off. I took the speaker back to curry’s where I purchased it and was told it needed to go back to Sony for replacement or repair. I waited about 3 weeks to then be told that Sony would not touch it as the charge port was damaged. I’m very disappointed with Sony and will probably steer away from buying their products in the future.

It's a nice outdoor speaker straight out of the box, but for home use it needs to be finely tune, bass is overwhelming in small spaces and makes higher notes inaudible. EQ is available only in the app and you really have to max out mids and treble and bottom out bass, if you want to enjoy classical or rock music. Also it's quite directional speaker.

I love it but feel like the volume is not what it could be

I bought this one month ago after my JBL stopped charging. The sound is loud! I cannot put on full volume unless vacuum is running. The range covers my whole home and it is so portable making it my favorite I have bought thus far.

I purchased this speaker in order to play music in a large hall environment for an afternoon and evening. The speaker performed perfectly with bass boost adding to the quality of the sound. Highly recommend and have already persuaded a friend to buy one.

+ Firstly good sound stage ,but quite a directional setup. Nice design ,with a good quality fit and finish. Good LDAC / Bluetooth performance. - No charger supplied, only a "white" USB type C to C cable with a black product? USB C cable doesn't support fast data only fast charge(minor gripe) Battery is supposed to last 25 hours, that is a huge overestimation. Currently seeing around 8 Hours depending on volume level and settings. Overall good quality Sony product with poor battery life.

I was extremely happy with my Sony SRS-XG300 speaker until, after 14 months of light use, the power button suddenly became unresponsive without warning. This issue rendered the speaker unusable, as the power button is essential for operation. I attempted all recommended troubleshooting steps, including holding the power button for about 8 seconds to restart the speaker ([helpguide.sony.net](https://helpguide.sony.net/speaker/srs-xg300/v1/en/contents/TP1000669933.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com)), but to no avail. Fortunately, I purchased the speaker from Amazon.fr, which offers a two-year warranty. However, having relocated to Budapest for work, returning the product to France poses logistical challenges. I will need to wait until the holidays to return to France for the exchange and incur additional expenses for a larger suitcase on my flight. I wish there were options to have it repaired or replaced here in Hungary. I miss my Sony SRS-XG300 and look forward to using it again.

I love Sony products so much. Seriously. Possible too much. Most of my nicer electronics, especially music related, are Sony. And for good reason. Unfortunately the reason I’m writing this is so ask for help. I recently saved up and got a new Sony xg300 speaker from Walmart. I don’t have my receipt anymore but I still have the box that f that helps for whatever reason, but my car was broken into this evening and just my luck, my new favorite speaker as well as my older Sony xb200 were stolen. I know this problem is in not way the fault of Sony, I’m seriously just asking because I’m upset and can’t afford to spend another 350+ dollars replacing speakers right now even though I use it everyday at work. Is there any way at all possible if you guys could help out a loyal fan and continued customer, all I ask would f it’s in the realm of possibility is some sort of coupon or discount so I can replace my speaker without negatively affecting my financial situation. If not I totally understand and it chances nothing regarding future purchases or recommendations on my part with Sony. Thanks In advance either way!

Very pleased with sound quality. Only gave 4 stars as I had to purchase adapter for charging! Surely this should have been included as item was expensive.

Great speakers and great bass

We need to bring music to a large family get together and I hoped that this linked to my iPhone would do the trick. It has and it produces excellent sound in a very convenient package. Nicely put together as I would expect. Well done

Fab speaker: Clarity and balance of sound are great.

Very good speaker. Used for a house party and it did the trick, was expecting a little more bass due to the size and mega bass function, but overall happy with this product.

I'm 99.9% Satisfied, but just wish the Volume could of been a little Louder...

Another good quality product from Sony. Easy to connect to blue tooth devices once you know how to activate the discovery mode.

I bought this for myself as a birthday present last august and it is amazing. The sound quality is phenomenal. I love heavy rock and the bass is the best I've heard on a mobile speaker. The battery does last 25 hrs.
