About the Accessibility Shortcut
The Accessibility Shortcut feature provides an easier and faster way to switch your favorite accessibility feature.
You can quickly access your favorite accessibility function by pressing and holding the MUTE button on your TV remote control for more than 5 seconds. By default, this opens the TalkBack function.
Note:
- If your model is BRAVIA 6 (A60): Press and hold the Back button and Down buttons on the TV remote control simultaneously for at least 3 seconds.
- If your TV displays a Use Accessibility Shortcut? message, press the Enter button to continue.
Accessibility features available for the Accessibility Shortcut
- TalkBack
- Switch Access
- Text Magnification
- Screen Reader
Note: Available accessibility features may vary by TV model.
Configure the Accessibility Shortcut
- Open Accessibility settings
- Select Accessibility Shortcut.
- Select Shortcut service.
- Select your preferred accessibility function.
Notes:
- The Accessibility Shortcut option may not be available during the initial TV setup, depending on your TV model.
- On some models, the Edit option in Quick Settings is unavailable when the TalkBack feature is turned On.
- On models that support eARC, enabling TalkBack automatically turns eARC mode off.
