TV has no power and the LED does not light up after software update

If your TV does not turn on, has no picture, or does not respond after an update, restart the TV using these steps.

Symptoms that may occur after a software update

• The TV does not turn on, and the LED does not light up after an update.
• The TV turns on, but no picture appears after an update.
• The TV turns on but does not respond after an update.

Restart your TV

1. Unplug the TV power cord (mains lead) from the wall outlet.
2. Wait 10 seconds, and then plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
3. Turn on the TV using the power button on the TV or remote control.
4. Wait up to two minutes for the BRAVIA Privacy Policy screen to appear.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to accept the BRAVIA Privacy Policy again.
6. After you complete these steps, the TV should operate normally.
