Sony has recently discovered that with certain units of its Digital Still Camera “Cyber-shot” DSC-T20, a symptom may arise in which the camera body may vibrate when it is powered on, due to a mechanical failure affecting the lens, and it prevents the camera user from being able to shoot.
To ensure customer satisfaction, Sony will provide a free repair service when this symptom occurs within certain units covered by the serial numbers indicated in the serial number validation box below.

The camera body may vibrate when powered on, due to a mechanical failure affecting the lens. This prevents the camera user from being able to shoot.

The model name and serial number are indicated on a sticker located at the bottom of the camera.

*Please be notified that the camera mode settings and/or the recorded memory data may be initialized during the repair. Please make a backup of your camera’s internal memory data prior to sending it to your local Sony service centre.
