Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:
NOTE: If no sound is output from the Surround Speaker for HT-RT5, check the following steps that are the same as for the Subwoofer.

Check that the Subwoofer is turned on.
NOTE: If any LED indicator is lit or flashing, the power is ON.

Press the + (subwoofer volume) button or BASS button on the remote control to turn up the volume from the Subwoofer.
NOTE: The button name varies depending on the model.

Check the status of the Subwoofer LED indicator.
NOTE: When the LED lights up red after turning on the audio device, the connection (link) between the Sound Bar Speaker and the Subwoofer may not be complete. Set the link settings again. For details, refer to the Operating Instructions.

When the LED flashes (slowly) in green or orange and lights up in red after 10 seconds, move the Subwoofer closer to the main unit. Place the Subwoofer where there are no obstacles, such as furniture, walls, or metal objects, directly between the unit and Subwoofer.
NOTE: The LED may flash slowly in green or orange for more than 10 seconds.

Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead) of the Subwoofer, and reconnect it after one minute. Right after turning on the Subwoofer, set the link settings between the Sound Bar Speaker and the Subwoofer again.
NOTE: For how to set the link refer to the product manual as described in Step 3).

If the issue is still not resolved, reset or reinitialize the Sound Bar. After the reset/reinitialize, perform the Easy setup process and then set the link settings between the Sound Bar Speaker and the Subwoofer again.

How to reset or initialize HT-CT790/NT3/ST9/RT5
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Setup.
- Select Resetting.
- Select Reset to Factory Default Settings.
- Select All Settings, and select Start.

How to reset or initialize HT-CT380/CT780
- Press the MENU button on the remote control.
- Select SYSTEM.
- Select SYS.RST.
- When START appears on the display of the Sound bar, press ENTER.
Then RESET appears on the display. - When RESET disappears, disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), and then plug it back in.

How to reset or initialize HT-MT300/MT500
At the same time, press and hold the

(power) and
- (volume down) button on the Sound Bar for at least 5 seconds.
NOTE: For HT-MT500, you can initialize the speakers on the

How to reset or initialize HT-Z9F
- Disconnect the HDMI cables from the speakers and connected devices.
- Press and hold the
(power) and - (volume down) button on the Sound Bar for more than 5 seconds.
NOTE: Then RESET appears on the display for a while. - Press and hold the
(power) button of the Subwoofer and Rear speakers for more than 10 seconds. - Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), and then plug it back in.
- Reconnect the HDMI cables.

How to reset or initialize HT-X9000F/S350
- Press and hold the
(power) and - (volume down) button on the Sound Bar for more than 5 seconds.
NOTE: All the indicators flashes 3 times. - Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), and then plug it back in.

How to reset or initialize HT-G700
- Press the MENU button on the remote control.
NOTE: The SPEAKER is displayed in the front panel display. - Select RESET by pressing the ↑ (upper) or ↓ (lower) button.
- Select ALL RESET.
- Select START, and then the system settings returns to the factory default.
