HS120, HS100 and SSLOW have the same frame rate, but what is the difference?

Differences of HS120, HS100 and SSLOW

    The recording formats are different

    Although both are shot at the same frame rate, the recording formats are different.

    • SSLOW: Super slow recording
      Movies shot at a 120p/100p frame rate are recorded at 30p/25p.
      No audio is recorded.
    • HS120/HS100: High speed recording
      Movies are recorded at a 120p/100p frame rate.
      Audio is recorded.

    NOTE:

    • It is possible to edit and play back high-speed recorded movies in slow motion using PlayMemories Home.
    • You can create impressive movies with sound (or no sound) by combining normal-speed and slow-speed sequences inside one movie.
