Sound quality is poor or there is no sound at all when playing video with the clip-on LCD monitor (CLMV-55).

    Depending on the specifications of the HDMI output of the camera, sound quality may be poor, no sound is heard, the sound is low, or the speaker howls. If a howling noise occurs, turning down the speaker volume of the clip-on LCD monitor will help. Also, instead of using the speakers on the clip-on monitor, connecting headphones is an alternative solution.

    NOTE: The sound is not heard at all when recording with the NEX-3, NEX-5 and NEX-C3 cameras.
