Question

The edges of the image or movie are distorted when taking taking still images or recording movies at the wide-angle side of the zoom.

Answer

Due to optical properties of wide-angle lenses, the edges of the image may tend to be distorted at the wide-angle side depending on the subjects. If it is outstanding, place the subject at the center of the image, or use the telephoto (The zoom button with the letter T) side of the lens.
