Why is there no power-on chime sound when the TV is power on?

Question

No power-on chime sound when the TV is power on.

Answer

This is not a malfunction, we have improve over earlier version which now allows you to enable the power-on chime sound. This improvement occurs in TV which have been updated to the latest System Software.
To enable power-on chime sound, from the Sound menu, change the setting of "Key Tone" to "On".
