Great Quality

MDR-ZX770BN 27 September 2017 by Ya_boi (Australia)

i got this device around 9 months ago, it has served me very well but i am afraid to say that the swivel joints that allow the earphones themselves to swivel are quite fragile and they broke easily, despite this i still will give the product a 4 star review because in those nine months they were extremely comfortable without sacrificing quality

Practical & Effective Headphone

MDR-ZX770BN 29 April 2016 by Pusheen (Australia)

Light, comfy. Excellent bluetooth/NFC connection. Top sound quality: need 3rd sound mode, wired cable & NC mode A. What made it "top quality" was that rich bass, surround sound, effective NC was available. All other combinations with 1st sound mode made the quality lack bass, richness & dynamics=way too pale. NC: surprisingly the sound quality is pathetic without NC in both wired/wireless playbacks. The overall NC isn't powerful, but for someone who doesn't like having a "vacuum/ear-blocked" feeling when NC is on, this headphone=suitable. Train rumbles, car honks can't be blocked out, but general crowd conversations, air con hiss can be blocked very effectively. Ease of use: confusing initially, took a long time figureing out combinations & getting used to it. Being unable to switch different sound & NC modes quickly is a regret. The flashing lights meanings are difficult to get used to.The fact every-time if u want best NC in very noisy places u need to hold NC button to analyse really disrupts the music. Overall a very good headphone for an audiophile who travels alot & at many times dislikes irritating cables.

Great product, if time is taken to research...

MDR-ZX770BN 27 April 2016 by StuMacka (Australia)

Bought these about a month ago, and was super excited to receive. The noise cancelling works great on low frequency hums (planes/trains/cars etc), but not so well on actual voices, which is to be expected. It is easy to hook up to any device without Bluetooth with the supplied 3.5mm cable. Charge lasts for ages, haven't run out of battery before recharging yet. One thing I only found after extensive research is that holding down the noise cancelling button analyses the surrounding sounds and chooses a setting which is best fit to block out as many sounds as possible. It works fantastically, though I wish I had known about this sooner The bass is one thing I hear people complain about. In the first week or so I partially agreed, however I now think that the bass is actually very well balanced while also quite powerful (Not as powerfull as Sony's XB (Extra Bass) line, which I had before, but this model balances other aspects better). Super Comfy as well! I highly recommend! :D
