Select a Digital Cinema Sound (DCS) setting to suit what you are watching and the Sony exclusive Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology will recreate the perfect acoustic environment with the sound characteristics of actual Hollywood theatres.

Your system may feature some or all of the following Digital Cinema Sound fields:

Movie: Reproduces the sound characteristics of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) theatres.

DCS EX A: Cary Grant Theatre production studio. This is the standard mode and is great for watching almost all types of movie.

DCS EX B: Kim Novak Theatre production studio, ideal for action or sci-fi movies with lots of sound effects.

DCS EX C: Reproduces SPE scoring stage, ideal for watching musicals or films where orchestra music is featured in the soundtrack.

DCS Virtual Multi Dimension: Creates many virtual speakers from surround speakers for greater ambience.
